We're done. Cheers to everyone that helped us out over the years. We won't be playing any final gigs.
Our final recording is up in full on our bandcamp. We'll be making some tapes, which will be ready by the end of March. They'll be made to order, with a few extra printed, but once they're gone that's it. Get in touch for wholesale copies. All remaining records and shirts are up for next to nothing.

Pick Your Master...
We recorded for the last time earlier this year and will hopefully have an 11 song LP out at some point in the future. Details of that and any gigs will be shared when we have more details. You can hear a couple of songs from the LP here.

We're playing our first gig for over 6 months and our first at the new Owl Sanctuary this weekend.
It starts at 6.30pm, we're on around 8, with Torso on after us.
We are still working and making gradual progress with some new songs, with the aim of recording them some point this year. They'll be the last songs we do.

Thanks to everyone who helped us with tour last month. We're back now and will be working on another record some time soon, and will probably be quiet apart from that.
Leftovers merch is up at www.jackalshc.bandcamp.com/merch including a new shirt we had printed for the tour.

We're heading back over to Europe at the end of October for just over a week. If you can help us with the spare date on the 26th, email jack.pitt@uea.ac.uk
Cheers

We had some new shirts and patches printed for the gigs we did last week and we got more copies of the 'Violence Is...' 7" and 'No Solution' 12" from Hardware. You can get all of them here- www.jackalshc.bandcamp.com/merch
The gigs we played were really great, we already knew just how good things are in the UK at the moment as far as DIY spaces and great bands go, but it was good to experience it first hand all week.
Next up we've got some local gigs, then we'll be recording another record, ideally before the end of the year. We'll also be aiming to do a couple of weekenders in the UK and we'll be heading to Europe for 10 days in October, which I'll be booking soon. If you want to help us with this, you can get in touch with us by emailing jack.pitt@uea.ac.uk

Couple of photos by Tinne Blommaert from the recent gig we did with Cheap Drugs in Norwich. The show was a benefit for the Green and Black Cross- https://greenandblackcross.org
We're doing a tour for a week in the UK at the end of March/start of April. Will put up the poster and more details when everything is finalised.

VIOLENCE IS...
Our new 7" is out now. You can listen to it and buy it from www.jackalshc.bandcamp.com in the UK, and http://www.hardware-records.com in Europe. Everyone else can buy from either of those links too, but we'll hopefully get some to US distros as well.
500 copies were pressed, 400 on black, 100 on pink. We'll have some with alternative covers as usual at our gigs in November, unless we end up playing anything before that. I'll also upload some lyric explanations whenever I get round to finishing writing them up.
Here's a couple of flyers for some upcoming gigs. We're also playing in Norwich with Semi and Snob in November. We'll hopefully be doing some more weekends and stuff like that soon as well.

Poison Idea cancelled their tour so that gig isn't happening.
We are playing these gigs instead...
We also have a couple of others planned, I'll post the flyers up when they're sorted.
One gig we have planned is on the 6th September at Fine City Audio, as part of an all dayer. Norwich city council are showing their commitment to being a 'city of culture' by demolishing the existing buildings at Fishmarket, which means the practice space which has stood there for 20 years or so under several different names will be no more.
We've also be looking to pay a few weekenders for the first time in a long while in the Autumn, probably to coincide with our new 7" coming out, again on Hardware Records. The artwork is finished and we'll hopefully be getting test presses of the record fsooner rather than later, but by all accounts record pressing is taking a long time at the moment, due to Record Store Day block bookings giving pressing plants large backlogs.

A good review from MRR.
A not so great review from yellowgreenred.com
If your record is skipping by the way, try adjusting the weight on the arm. I'm not an expert or anything but it sorted the problem for me. If that doesn't work, get in touch with Hardware records, by emailing chris@hardware-records.com
Mixing is almost done on the new 7" we recorded a little while ago.
We've got some local gigs sorted in a few months for when I'm back in the country, but nothing outside of Norwich yet. This is the next one...
Benefit for the Green and Black cross. Read about them here- http://greenandblackcross.org/legal
